VoHiYo Meaning

VoHiYo, otherwise known as the Weeb or Weeaboo original emote is used as a way to say Hello to someone or to show that you have joined the stream and that they can count on you from now on.

It can also be used when you are finished with your technical explanation, and you want others to know.

Most viewers think this is some sort of a special Twitch emote, but this is mainly a technical emote used for mods on the server to communicate with each other and welcome new viewers.

In this guide, we will try to explain the VoHiYo emote meaning and what is used for, and why you see it so frequently.

VoHiYo or Weeb is one of the most popular emotes in the Twitch community, especially among people who are just starting out and want to get to know more users.

It appears on pretty much every stream, and it is the original Twitch emote that has been there from the beginning.

The Story Behind Vohiyo Emote

There is not much information about the VoHiYo Twitch emote except that it is a cute girl in a purple shirt with a wrench in her hand.

It is one of emotes based on a popular Twitch moderator called Volary, and the wrench in her hand should symbolize all the things she’s doing to keep the server alive.

VoHiYo is known as the weeb emote because it references anime, and it is short for “people who are obsessed with Japanese pop culture.”

Every channel can have one variation of VoHiYo as long as it doesn’t use any of the original parts of the unique VoHiYo emotes, which besides this one, is only available for Kappa emotes.

It was released in 2011, so it is one of the oldest Twitch emotes released along with the platform.

VoHiYo is still one of the most popular emojis on the platform.

How To Use VoHiYo Emote?

While viewers on the channel will also be able to use this emote, VoHiYo is mainly reserved for mods and admins, and it helps them signalize when is the time to take care of something on the channel.

However, you can use it s a way to say Hello to someone new on the channel and maybe to connect with other interesting viewers.

In case you see that you can use this emote on one channel but not on the other, then keep in mind that it may be disabled on some because mods of that channel decided to keep it for themselves.
