Some Stream Mentor pages contain affiliate links. If a reader follows one of those links and completes an eligible purchase, Stream Mentor may receive a commission. The reader's price is generally not increased because of that referral, although prices, taxes, shipping, discounts, eligibility, and retailer terms are controlled by the seller.
How affiliate relationships affect coverage
Affiliate eligibility does not decide whether a product or service is included, and a commission does not buy a favorable conclusion. Stream Mentor's current standard is to explain the intended user, documented requirements, compatibility, limitations, and evidence boundary. A research-based guide must not claim hands-on testing merely because a purchase link exists.
When a useful manufacturer, platform, standards, or help-center source exists, we may link to it without an affiliate relationship. Some materially reviewed guides intentionally use first-party links instead of retailer links so readers can verify a specification or rule.
Legacy links and the current rebuild
Stream Mentor is reviewing a large legacy WordPress archive page by page. Older articles can contain historic retailer, marketplace, or referral links that predate the current editorial standard. Their presence is not a current endorsement and does not prove that the product remains available, compatible, safe, or recommended.
During review, we may remove an affiliate link, replace it with a first-party source, rewrite the decision process, consolidate duplicate pages, or retire the article. We do not preserve unsafe services, fake-engagement vendors, account trading, unsupported downloads, or unverifiable claims merely because they once generated revenue.
Amazon Associates
Stream Mentor has used Amazon Associates links. Where that relationship is active and a qualifying purchase is made, Stream Mentor may earn from the purchase. Amazon and each regional storefront control product availability, pricing, delivery, returns, and eligibility.
Free access, samples, sponsorships, and conflicts
If a future article is based on paid placement, sponsored access, a supplied product, or another material relationship, that fact should be disclosed prominently on the page. Access alone does not justify “tested” language; the article must still describe what was actually evaluated and what was not.
