BlessRNG Emote Meaning
“Oh, Almighty Twitch Deity, bless this stream with your wisdom and grant your humble servant the insight and prudence to defeat the boss as an offering to you. And, bestow upon your loyal subject the Golden Kappa as well!”
When you examine the twitch emotes list, I am sure you will find some of the twitch emote meanings challenging to understand.
On the other hand, some emotes are easy to understand right away.
When we discuss our bless emote here, specifically blessrng, what do you see?
Yes, you see Jesus (really, though?), his hands clasped as if in prayer.
This is precisely what underlies one of the most controversial twitch emotes meanings (stay tuned to uncover some dirt!!!).
Now, seriously, what a streamer means by saying “bless Twitch” is that he is praying for the guidance and support needed to have a successful streaming experience.
Additionally, it suggests that the streamers are hoping for a Golden Kappa, as that is the ultimate goal, correct?
Moreover, bless rng is the emote of choice whenever a religious reference is made. This would be a fitting reaction.
The Story Behind
I know that you are very interested in learning about the blessing’s origin.
In short, this is clearly not Jesus. It’s simply a (former) Twitch streamer, Brad “BlessRNG” Jolly, in a praying pose.
This gained popularity quickly because it draws a strong parallel with Jesus, given BlessRNG’s physical resemblance to the Dude.
The emote was released in 2017, making it relatively new at the time. I say “was” because it is now just one of the removed Twitch emotes.
The reason is that our Jesus has fallen out of grace for serious reasons. Specifically, he was banned in June of this year (2020) due to abuse against his ex-girlfriend.
I told you I was going to uncover some dirt, didn’t I?
As a result of his actions, twitch blessrng has also been removed from the list of available emotes.
Since “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to satisfy his sinful nature will reap destruction from that nature…”
Hmm, there’s nothing quite like divine retribution!
Anyway, blessing Twitch is no longer available; thus, we can only hope and pray for a suitable replacement.
