Streaming star Asmongold has expressed his full support for Elon Musk’s decision to sue Twitch.
Musk claims that Twitch and other companies conspired against him, aiming to block ads on his platform, X, which was previously known as Twitter.
This lawsuit was launched after many advertisers left X.
In August, Musk filed a legal complaint against the Global Alliance of Responsible Media.
He accuses these groups of working together to stop advertising on his platform.
Recently, Musk’s company, X Corp, has included Twitch in this legal action.
According to a report from Business Insider, Musk’s team argues that Twitch did not properly support X by withholding ads.
They also stated that Twitch has not bought ads in the U.S.
Asmongold, who streams on Twitch every day, reiterated his backing for Musk’s lawsuit against Twitch, which is owned by Amazon.
During his stream on November 19, Asmongold said, “I completely support Elon Musk in this. I do, I totally support him.”
He described the situation as a significant issue.
Asmongold added, companies are acting similarly to cartels, making group decisions.
He believes this practice creates a monopoly and may violate anti-trust laws.

Despite being a daily streamer on Twitch, Asmongold firmly stands behind Musk’s legal efforts against the Amazon-owned service. During a live stream on November 19, he stated, “I fully support Elon Musk in this. I really do; I completely support him.”
He described the current situation as a major concern and expressed his belief that companies are collaborating in a manner akin to cartels, making collective decisions that lead to monopolistic control over the market.
He fears this approach might infringe on anti-trust laws, highlighting the seriousness of the issue at hand. Asmongold made it clear that he hopes Musk will pursue his lawsuit to the fullest extent possible, stating he does not want his choices or expression restricted by multinational corporations.
The controversy surrounding Twitch and its advertisers deepens, particularly with discussions of an “adpocalypse,” affecting political content on the platform. So far, Musk, Twitch, and Amazon have yet to publicly comment on the lawsuit.
