Recently, Cinna made comments saying that Asmongold is “hurting” OTK.
This caught the attention of viewers, and Asmongold has responded to these remarks.
He has been facing criticism after sharing some controversial opinions during a livestream.
Following those comments, other creators in the industry, including Cinna from OTK, have expressed their views on his role.
On February 12, during a Twitch stream with Nmplol, Brittany “Cinna” Watts openly talked about how she feels about Asmongold’s influence on OTK.
Even though Asmongold stepped back from his leadership role in OTK at the end of 2024, he still has strong connections with the organization.
Cinna mentioned during her discussion with Nmplol that this situation should change or at least be questioned.
She stated, “If you have five employees and I am saying a bunch of crazy stuff that affects them, what’s the deal?”
She continued to say that if Asmongold does not care, they need to reconsider the conversation about his actions.
In response to these comments, Asmongold was asked by his audience what he thought about it.
He admitted that he had heard a bit about the situation but had no intention of watching the full clip.
Despite this, he was willing to share his perspective on the matter.
Asmongold said, “I’m creating content and managing multiple channels with more than 100 million views monthly.”
He also noted that if he spent all his time dealing with public opinions about him, he wouldn’t have time for anything else.
He reiterated that the way others perceive him is not important and really doesn’t matter.
Asmongold emphasized he is focused on producing content.
He mentioned, “If someone has a real criticism, I’ll listen. But the other nonsense isn’t important to me.”
Asmongold responded to the critiques made by Cinna, expressing that he isn’t particularly bothered by her comments. He acknowledged hearing about the controversy but had no desire to view the full clip of her remarks.
During a chat with his viewers, he clarified his current situation, stating, “I have multiple channels that garner over 100 million views each month.” He pointed out that focusing on what others say about him would consume all his time, leaving him little room to create content.
He stressed that the opinions of others do not hold much significance in his eyes. Asmongold stated, “What matters is that I continue to make content that I enjoy.”
Furthermore, he acknowledged the importance of constructive criticism, saying, “If there is a valid critique, I’m open to hearing it. But the trivial stuff isn’t a concern for me.”
Asmongold concluded by questioning why he should give attention to those who are merely complaining or gossiping. He believes in prioritizing his work over engaging with negativity.
