Twitch Titan Kai Cenat RIPS Rolling Stone for Snubbing IShowSpeed in Influencer Rankings!

Published On:

Twitch star Kai Cenat expressed his anger at Rolling Stone.

He was upset that IShowSpeed was not included in their Top 25 list of social media influencers and creators for 2024.

Kai pointed out that other streamers were featured instead.

IShowSpeed has gained a massive following in recent years.

The 19-year-old became popular for his passion for Cristiano Ronaldo.

He even had the chance to meet the famous football player.

Speed often participates in Kai Cenat’s streams.

They have played games together, including Chained Together and Minecraft.

Kai has also urged Twitch to bring Speed back to their platform after he faced bans.

Recently, Kai defended Speed regarding his recognition in awards.

Speed was not listed among the influential social media figures.

Kai brought this matter up during his stream on August 29.

He questioned how Speed could be overlooked when others like RCDWorld and Druski were recognized.

Kai said, “My boy got motion, you feel what I’m saying? It’s just crazy how he didn’t even make it, period.”

Kai was named the top influencer on the same list.

He also acknowledged Duke Dennis as one of the top five influencers.

Despite his frustration, there were still other Twitch streamers on the list.

Kai, Hasan Piker, and Pokimane represented Twitch.

This marks consecutive years for both Kai and Hasan on the list.

Though Speed had a big year in 2024, he will need to top it next year to get on the list.

Kai Cenat was vocal about his displeasure toward Rolling Stone for excluding IShowSpeed from their list of the Top 25 social media influencers and creators for 2024.

He highlighted that other content creators were featured while Speed was omitted.

IShowSpeed has become a household name on the internet in recent years, especially after skyrocketing to fame due to his enthusiastic support for Cristiano Ronaldo.

In fact, he even had the opportunity to meet the legendary soccer player.

The 19-year-old frequently appears on Kai Cenat’s live streams, where they enjoy playing games like Chained Together and Minecraft.

Kai has been a strong advocate for bringing Speed back to Twitch after he faced multiple bans from the platform.

Recently, Cenat stood by Speed regarding his lack of recognition during awards season.

He brought up the issue in an August 29 stream, puzzled as to why Speed was overlooked while other creators such as RCDWorld and Druski received accolades.

Kai expressed his frustration by saying, “My boy got motion, you feel what I’m saying? It’s just crazy how he didn’t even make it, period.”

On a positive note, Kai was named the top influencer on the same list where Speed was absent.

He also recognized Duke Dennis as another standout in the top five influencers.

Even though Kai felt upset about Speed’s exclusion, he noted that there were still prominent Twitch streamers on the list, including himself, Hasan Piker, and Pokimane.

This year marks a second consecutive appearance for both Kai and Hasan on the list, showcasing their influence.

Despite IShowSpeed’s significant achievements in 2024, he will need to outdo himself in the upcoming year to secure a spot on the coveted list.
