Twitch Star JasonTheWeen’s Shocking Ban Sparks Controversy Just Before Subathon Milestone!

Published On:

JasonTheWeen has become a big name on Twitch, rising rapidly in popularity during his subathon.

However, just before his subathon finished, both Jason and fellow streamer Adapt were banned from the platform.

During his livestream, his subscription count surged, reaching over 88k when Twitch suspended his channel.

He was very close to hitting the 100k subscriber mark.

This number, while not enough to break Kai Cenat’s record, still places him among the top five most subscribed streamers on Twitch.

At the same time, he was nearing Kai’s current sub count, which is around 100k.

While he is far from IronMouse’s impressive 200k, it is still a significant achievement.

Jason has not yet disclosed the details behind the ban, but it is believed that it may be linked to him and Adapt drinking on stream the night before it happened.

Getting banned for drinking irresponsibly while streaming has become a common reason for Twitch suspensions.

Earlier in 2024, another streamer, fallenshadow, faced a similar issue when she was banned for consuming too much alcohol during a stream.

Since the start of 2024, FaZe Jason’s following has exploded from a few thousand viewers to tens of thousands.

This growth has solidified his position as one of Twitch’s biggest streamers.

Fortunately for Jason, his ban was lifted just half an hour after it was imposed, allowing him to return to streaming and pursue his goal of reaching 100k subscribers.

He expressed his gratitude to his Twitch representative for facilitating his quick return and mentioned that he also aimed to get Adapt reinstated.

“We need to get Adapt back too, and we want to make the most of the last few days of the subathon,” Jason stated. Shortly afterward, Adapt was also unbanned.

Jason remains determined to see his subathon through and finish strong. In a generous move, he has already donated $12,000, which he earned during his streams, to a maid who works for him. Additionally, he contributed $7,500 to assist a fan battling cancer.
