TikTok star Malik Ambersely, known as NPC Miles Morales, has announced he will stop performing as the character permanently.

He wants to focus on being himself after receiving support from Kai Cenat.

During late 2023, NPC streams gained a lot of attention online.

These streams began on TikTok, where streamers pretended they could only reply to specific donations and gifts.

Several streamers became very popular, but Malik, as NPC Miles Morales, stood out the most.

He has portrayed the Spider-Man character on social media for a long time.

Malik even took part in Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2, acting as the NPC while Kai slept each night.

Now that this phase is over, Malik wants to concentrate on his real self.

He plans to stop using the NPC persona and hopes to be recognized by his real name from now on.

On his Twitch stream, he told fans, “You’re not doing NPC anymore? No, I think I would rather want to be known as me.”

He mentioned that he might still do character work occasionally, but the NPC gimmick, like standing outside, is not in his plans anymore.

Malik believes he needs to explore new avenues beyond the NPC character.

In late 2023, the concept of NPC streams gained immense popularity online. These streams, which started on TikTok, featured streamers acting as though they could only respond to certain donations and gifts.

Many streamers enjoyed a surge in fame, but Malik, better known as NPC Miles Morales, captured the spotlight like no one else.

He has been playing the Spider-Man character across various social media platforms for quite some time now.

Malik also played a pivotal role in Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2, where he took on the NPC persona each night while Kai was resting.

With this chapter now behind him, Malik is shifting his focus toward his authentic self.

He aims to set aside the NPC identity and wishes to be acknowledged by his real name moving forward.

During a recent Twitch stream, he told his audience, “You’re not doing NPC anymore? No, I think I would rather want to be known as me.”

Although he may continue to do character performances from time to time, he has no plans to engage in the NPC gimmick, particularly not in the same way as before.

Malik believes it’s important for him to venture into new realms beyond the NPC character.
