Streamer’s Shocking Crash: Banned from Kick After Reckless Live-Stream Scandal Ignites Outrage!

Published On:

Jack Doherty has faced criticism from famous streamers after being banned from Kick for dangerous behavior.

This action came after he live-streamed himself crashing his McLaren while using his phone.

The incident occurred on October 5 when Doherty was seen interacting with his chat while driving on a wet road.

Shortly after, he lost control of the vehicle, hit the guardrail, and severely damaged his supercar.

His cameraman was injured during the crash and required medical attention.

The shocking event resulted in Doherty’s permanent ban from the platform and generated major backlash in the streaming community.

Many prominent creators spoke out against him for his reckless driving and for continuing to stream even after the accident.

He was seen handing the camera to his injured cameraman, urging him to keep filming.

Nadeshot, a Twitch streamer and founder of 100 Thieves, called for action from the authorities.

He stated that Doherty should face jail time and should be removed from all platforms.

Adin Ross, another well-known streamer, expressed his outrage while watching the incident on his Kick stream. He was particularly upset about how Doherty treated his cameraman after the crash.

Ross conveyed his frustration, stating, “I can’t believe he put the camera in front of the cameraman’s face and said, ‘get the angles.’ I really want to assist that cameraman.” He made it clear that he wanted to make things right for the injured individual.

Furthermore, Ross, who is also a co-owner of Kick, told Doherty that he would need to pay $300,000 to be reinstated on the platform, or he would remain banned indefinitely.

NICKMERCS, another popular streamer, also took to social media to share his thoughts. He criticized Doherty’s actions and stated, “If there was an Olympics for terrible people, this guy would be at the top.” His comments further added to the backlash directed at Doherty.

After the crash, Doherty posted a video update showing his cameraman, Michael, receiving stitches in the hospital. Michael mentioned that he felt “amazing,” but many viewers still condemned Doherty for his reckless behavior.

In response to the public outcry, many users on social media shared their opinions, with one comment stating, “This is karma for all the wrongs you’ve done to others.” Another user criticized Doherty harshly, calling him a “failure” for endangering lives for views and hoping for severe consequences.

This is not the first time Doherty has stirred controversy; previously, he faced backlash for dangerous stunts, such as hitting baseballs off the roof of a tall building, which viewers found unacceptable.
