Kick streamer Shoovy has reported an incident where another streamer pushed him into a moving train during TwitchCon.
The event took place on September 20, 2024, when thousands of streamers and fans gathered in San Diego for the convention.
This annual event is meant to celebrate the streaming community, but it has also seen some negative situations arising over the years.
While Shoovy was live on the platform Kick, he got into a disagreement with fellow streamer Turbski1.
As Shoovy turned his back, Turbski1 unexpectedly pushed him onto the train tracks.
After the push, Shoovy reacted immediately, asking, “What the f**k bro?”
Turbski1 shot back with, “Get the f**k out of here,” as they exchanged more words before parting ways.
Following the event, Shoovy contacted the police to report the assault and expressed his desire to file charges.
He explained to the officer that the conflict stemmed from a previous argument he had with one of Turbski1’s friends.
Shoovy mentioned that this earlier issue happened a few weeks prior to the incident.
After the altercation, Shoovy reported the incident to the police, indicating his intention to pursue legal action against his aggressor.
He clarified to the authorities that the confrontation was related to a prior disagreement involving a friend of Turbski1, which had caused tension between the two groups.
Shoovy shared that the harassment began just moments before he was pushed, explaining that Turbski1 and his friends were trying to provoke him, questioning his toughness and escalating the situation.
On September 21, Shoovy took to social media to voice his feelings about the incident. He provocatively addressed Turbski1, suggesting that the unexpected push had serious consequences and pointed out the absurdity of the situation, labeling it “attempted murder.”
Footage of the incident was captured by another streamer, DBR666, who has been known for causing disturbances at the event, including reportedly harassing fellow content creators.
The issue with DBR666 extended beyond this event; he was seen hounding prominent streamer xQc, who was shown fleeing after DBR666 made unwelcome comments directed at him.
Additionally, DBR666 has faced allegations of sexual misconduct, having reportedly inappropriately touched another popular streamer, Nmplol, during a live broadcast.
As the situation unfolds, it highlights the volatile nature of online interactions and the consequences that can arise from seemingly harmless confrontations at public events.
