Streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff is returning to Twitch for the majority of his streaming.
His one-year streaming contract with Kick has concluded.
NICKMERCS has been streaming on Twitch for over ten years.
Even after signing the deal with Kick, he continued to stream on Twitch because co-streaming was permitted.
The deal with Kick was reported to be worth approximately $10 million.
It was non-exclusive, meaning he could still stream on Twitch and other platforms.
However, most of his content was on the new platform during the contract.
The deal was made public in October 2023.
Now that the deal has ended, it remains unclear whether he chose not to extend it or if there were no new options available.
NICKMERCS simply stated that the deal was “up.”
He mentioned, “Lads, my Kick deal is up. They showed mad love over the last 2 years & for that, I’m super grateful. Wishing them nothing but continued success.”
However, he hinted that he might still stream on Kick but will primarily focus on Twitch.
NICKMERCS has consistently streamed on Twitch for over a decade. Even after agreeing to the contract with Kick, he continued to broadcast on Twitch because the agreement allowed him to do so.
The contract with Kick was estimated to be worth around $10 million. However, since it was a non-exclusive deal, it permitted him to stream on Twitch and other platforms as well.
While most of his content was featured on Kick during the term of the deal, he remained active on Twitch.

In the last year, he hosted a total of 103 streams on Twitch, a decrease from 159 in 2023 and 212 in 2022. Fans can anticipate an increase in this number as he shifts his commitment back to Twitch full-time.
Although he maintains a successful YouTube channel with more than 4 million subscribers, he has not streamed on that platform, despite its rising trend for live broadcasts.
