Ricky Banks, a co-founder of FaZe Clan, recently criticized influencer Jack Doherty, labeling him the “worst streamer of all time.”
This remark has sparked a heated online dispute between the two content creators.
On December 18, FaZe Banks and another streamer, Plaqueboymax, discussed their best and worst topics during a segment for Complex.
During their sixteen-minute video, Banks referred to Jack Doherty as the “worst streamer of all time,” and Plaqueboymax concurred.
“It’s easily Jack Doherty,” Banks stated. “Jack’s a piece of sh*t. Everybody knows it, obviously.”
Plaqueboymax added, “I’ll probably go with Jack Doherty, too. But at the end of the day, the pics he took after the crash were fire, to be honest.”
This comment alluded to a well-known car accident involving Doherty in October 2024.
In that incident, Doherty lost control of his $200,000 McLaren and crashed into a guardrail.
The crash attracted significant attention online and was even ridiculed on shows like Saturday Night Live.
As a consequence of the incident, Doherty was permanently banned from the streaming platform Kick, which began restricting dangerous broadcasts.
After seeing Banks’ comments, Jack Doherty responded by mocking Banks’ financial situation in a post on X. He questioned, “I wonder how much Banks paid in taxes last year. I know bro makes NO money these days, so why is he even talking about me?”
In retaliation, Banks accused Doherty of gaming the system through viewbotting and suggested that he had manipulated a cryptocurrency scheme. He stated, “I bought mog at $12 million and made more money in one deal than you’ve earned your entire life. You buy luxury watches, while I invest in companies.”
The exchange intensified when Doherty claimed that he has more assets in real estate compared to Banks and predicted that by the time he reaches Banks’s age, his wealth will exceed Banks’s by tenfold.
Known for his outspoken nature, FaZe Banks has a history of publicly calling out others. Recently, he criticized actress Grace Van Dien after she made comments regarding her time at FaZe Clan, which led to her taking a break from social media.
This ongoing feud underscores the competitive and often dramatic nature of the online streaming community, where public exchanges can swiftly escalate into full-blown controversies.
