A mother is upset with Druski after he called her son, a child actor, “fat” during a Thanksgiving stream on Kai Cenat’s show.
The incident took place on November 27, when Kai hosted a Thanksgiving dinner featuring actors dressed as characters from the Addams Family, including a boy portraying Pugsley.
During the stream, Druski repeatedly called the boy “fat,” which angered Kai, who then hugged the child actor and scolded Druski for his words.
Druski later apologized, stating he got too “excited” and praised the boy, saying he had a bright future.
However, the mother was not satisfied with the apology and claimed Druski had abused her son during the stream.
In a video, the boy shared that he was doing his job by staying in character as Pugsley. His mother mentioned that she struggled to reach him during the event.
The mother expressed her frustration, saying, “They wouldn’t let me get my son. Security blocked me. They were telling me my son was crying because he didn’t get enough food, which is a lie. An older man, Druski, was insulting my son both physically and mentally!”
She also claimed that Druski’s remarks hurt her son, and they both cried in the car after leaving the event.
She voiced her disbelief, saying, “They let this happen to my son! It has really affected him. I don’t think anyone should have their kids near drunk men. They also broke child permit laws. It was very unprofessional. We like Kai Cenat and have worked with him before, but Druski, you are not the right fit!”
The mother was also unhappy because the scene in which Druski made the remarks was cut from the YouTube video of the dinner, and she stated her son would not work with Kai again.
Furthermore, she rejected Druski’s apology, calling it insincere.
In response to the controversy, Kai Cenat addressed the situation during a stream. He suggested that the child’s comments might have been somewhat exaggerated. Kai mentioned that the team decided to edit the segments out of the YouTube edit, stating, “We wanted to ensure no one turned this into a joke online. This is a serious matter.”
Defending Druski, Kai acknowledged that the comedian had apologized on multiple occasions. He reasoned that Druski, as a comedian, sometimes speaks without thinking and reacted on impulse.
“He recognized that he made a mistake,” Kai stated. “His apologies were genuine this time.”
This episode comes as Kai nears the conclusion of his highly successful Twitch event known as Mafiathon. This month-long celebration has been filled with many memorable moments, making headlines as he broke the subscriber record on the platform, reaching an astonishing 600,000 subscribers.
