Kai Cenat wants to be the first streamer to broadcast from space.
He reached out to Elon Musk, thinking he is the only one who can help him achieve this dream.
During his Twitch stream on November 9, called Mafiathon 2, he talked with friends about the possibility of going to space.
He said, “You can! If you reach out to the right people, like Elon, you can go to space. I want to be the first to say, ‘Yo chat!’ from up there.”
Kai mentioned that he learned there is a small chance, about 3-5%, that he could die on this journey.
But he stated he’s willing to take that risk.
He plans to do one stream from space, although he’s not sure how to make it happen yet.
He added, “I’m going to need Elon Musk for this.”
Later, he posted on Twitter/X to directly ask Musk for help.
In his post, he wrote, “Hey Elon, I want to be the first streamer to say ‘YO CHAT’ from space. I believe you can help me achieve this goal. Let’s make history.”
This tweet quickly gained over 50,000 likes and more than a million views within ten hours.
It tagged both Musk and SpaceX, indicating that a response from Musk might come soon.
As of now, Elon Musk has not replied to Kai’s request, and there are no updates on whether Kai has contacted him privately regarding this ambitious plan.
Kai Cenat is currently engaged in a 24/7 streaming project called Mafiathon 2, during which he is aiming to break the record for the highest number of subscribers on Twitch. This record, currently held by V-Tuber Ironmouse at 326,252 subscribers as of October 2024, is a significant target for Kai, who previously held the record with 306,621 subscribers.
At the time of this writing, Kai has already amassed over 290,000 subscribers, indicating a strong following and engagement from his audience.
Throughout his streaming career, Kai has continually sought to push the boundaries of his content, and this potential space mission would undoubtedly be his most daring endeavor to date.
His previous subathon was not just an ordinary event; it featured a cinematic trailer that included a cameo from Kim Kardashian and even kicked off with a concert by popular rapper Lil Uzi Vert in his backyard. Since then, numerous celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Miranda Cosgrove, GloRilla, and Kodak Black have made appearances on his streams, showcasing his ability to attract major figures from entertainment and music.
Whether or not this dream to stream from space becomes reality remains to be seen, but his followers are eager to see what happens next. For those interested in keeping track of his latest updates, Kai has set up a dedicated hub for all the happenings related to his Mafiathon 2 streaming event.
