Streamer Sonii has criticized his ex-girlfriend Valkyrae.
This came after Valkyrae received a voodoo doll that looked like him during her PressESC podcast.
He called her actions “disturbing.”
Valkyrae hosted the podcast with her co-host Alythuh.
Both of them were in costumes from DC Comics’ Teen Titans while streaming.
During the show, Alythuh presented Valkyrae with a gift box that featured the voodoo doll.
Alythuh remarked, “I made a voodoo doll of your ex. I hate that man.”
This left Valkyrae surprised, as she responded, “Alyssa… that is the most deranged sh*t. Oh my god. Why does it actually look like him?”
The ex-boyfriend, Michael ‘Sonii’ Sherman, had been in a four-year relationship with Valkyrae before they split in 2020.
In response to the clip, Sonii shared his thoughts publicly.
He stated, “I haven’t spoken to you since the day we split 3 years ago. But this is really disturbing and warrants my first message to you.”
Sonii continued, “All I’ve done these past few years is try to live a peaceful life without you in it.”
He acknowledged that their relationship was difficult for both of them.
However, he emphasized that there was never cheating or physical abuse between them.
Sonii said they were both hurt and needed to heal in their own time.
He expressed understanding of Valkyrae’s behavior, suggesting it might be her way of coping with their past.
Sonii stated, “But this has been going on for a while.”
He also mentioned that he didn’t expect her to use their relationship struggles for entertainment years later.
He concluded his message by saying he had no other means to reach her but would be open to communication if she wanted. Sonii expressed, “I truly hope we can rise above the current situation. You’re welcome to contact me if you seek further closure.”
At the time of writing, Valkyrae had not publicly replied to Sonii’s comments, but it seemed she was preparing to address the issue on her podcast.
Shortly after Sonii’s post, the official PressESC podcast account tweeted, “Cheater and liar episode coming soon!” Valkyrae also shared this on her own social media.
This likely refers to a podcast episode where they might discuss their past relationship. Back in 2022, Sonii had hinted at potentially sharing his side of the story but ultimately decided against it.
