AMP Streamer Faces Legal Battle with Ferrari Over $450K Supercar Modifications – Will He Risk It All?

Published On:

AMP streamer Agent has shared that he may face legal issues with Ferrari over his $450,000 SF90 supercar.

He is planning to make some changes to the car.

As online content creation becomes popular, many creators have been getting flashy cars.

The AMP crew is part of this trend, with one member, Fanum, owning a purple Lamborghini Urus.

He had some trouble last July when the NYPD impounded his car for a night.

Agent, another member of AMP, has also recently bought a brand-new Ferrari SF90.

However, Ferrari is not thrilled about his modifications.

During a stream on October 20, he expressed concern, saying, “There is a chance I get sued by Ferrari because I will mod the car.”

He continued, “I mod all my cars, and sometimes Ferrari really dislikes that.”

Agent noted that Ferrari has previously issued cease and desist notices for unauthorized modifications.

He stated, “I’ll risk the lawsuit because I spent half a million dollars and it’s my car.”

He feels that they should accept his decision to change the car.

Agent is still deciding what specific changes he will make, planning to do so once the car is at least six months old.

He said, “I might not change the color; I love it as is, but I enjoy making my cars look aggressive.”

Car collectors have warned that Ferrari might blacklist customers who upset them with modifications.

This could potentially affect Agent, especially since he often streams his activities online.

In a world where content creators are flaunting their expensive vehicles, the AMP team is no exception. Agent, a streamer known for his passion for cars, has recently acquired a stunning Ferrari SF90 that cost him $450,000.

However, his excitement is paired with caution. During a live stream on October 20, he expressed his worries about the potential legal ramifications of modifying his new car. “I might get sued by Ferrari if I decide to make changes,” he revealed, acknowledging that the automaker is notorious for being strict about modifications.

He has a history of personalizing his vehicles, stating boldly, “I modify all my cars; there’s no debate about it.” Agent also shared his insight that Ferrari has been known to send cease and desist letters to owners who alter their cars without approval.

Despite the risks, Agent remains undeterred. “I’m willing to take that risk because I invested a lot in this car and I want to do what I like with it,” he said, emphasizing his ownership rights.

As for the exact alterations, Agent is still debating what he will change. He plans to wait at least six months before making any decisions. “I might keep the original color as I really love it, but I do enjoy making my cars look more aggressive,” he added.

Industry insiders have cautioned that tinkering with a Ferrari could lead to long-term consequences, including being blacklisted from purchasing future models. Given Agent’s active streaming career, this could put him under Ferrari’s watchful eye as someone they might not appreciate.

As he navigates the balance between self-expression and the strict rules of luxury car ownership, Agent’s journey goes to show the challenges many content creators might face when showcasing their automotive passions.
