Streamer’s Reckless Driving Crash Sparks Outrage: Can Jack Doherty’s Shocking Actions Be Forgiven?

Jack Doherty has faced criticism from well-known streamers after he was banned from Kick for dangerous behavior.

He was streaming live on October 5 when he was caught on camera using his phone while driving his McLaren on a wet road.

Shortly after, he lost control of the car, crashed into a guardrail, and badly damaged the front of his sports car.

His cameraman was also hurt in the crash, resulting in serious injuries.

This incident led to a permanent ban from Kick, stirring anger among many in the streaming community.

Several prominent creators voiced their opinions against Doherty’s actions.

Critics called out his reckless driving and noted that he kept streaming even after the accident.

In a shocking moment, he was seen asking his injured cameraman to keep filming when he should have been focused on the situation.

Streamer xQc shared his thoughts, stating that while he often feels creators are unfairly criticized, he believes the backlash against Doherty is justified.

He described the situation as “diabolical” and stated, “I don’t think this guy gets hated enough.”

Nadeshot, a Twitch streamer and founder of 100 Thieves, urged authorities to intervene.

He said, “This guy deserves jail time. I couldn’t believe what I watched when I saw this video. I’m not for cancel culture, but this kid must be demonetized from every platform.”

Adin Ross expressed anger at Doherty while watching the viral footage on his Kick stream.

He was upset about how Doherty treated his injured cameraman.

Ross mentioned, “I was really upset that his cameraman got hurt, and he shoved the camera in the cameraman’s face, telling him to get angles.”

He then said, “Somebody find that cameraman and tell him I’ll make it right.”

NICKMERCS, another popular streamer, also reacted negatively to Doherty’s actions. He labeled him as a terrible person, saying, “If there were an event for the worst humans, this guy would take the gold medal.”

Following the incident, Jack Doherty posted an update on social media, sharing a brief clip of his cameraman, Michael, receiving stitches at the hospital. Despite the serious situation, Michael mentioned that he felt “amazing,” which drew even more criticism from viewers who felt the whole event was inappropriate.

Many users on social media voiced their outrage, with one comment suggesting that this was karma for Doherty’s past behavior, saying, “All the terrible things you have done to others are catching up with you.”

Another comment strongly condemned Doherty, stating that he endangers lives for views and calling him a “failure of the century.” Others went so far as to predict that he would get sued and face serious consequences due to his reckless actions.

Jack Doherty has a history of controversial content, previously receiving backlash for irresponsible behavior, like hitting baseballs off the roof of a tall building, which many deemed dangerous.
